How to Engage Volunteers and Convert them to Donors

Learn to effectively attract and engage volunteers through Indy DO Day, a community partnership managed by the Indianapolis Rotary Club. Walk away with a toolkit that your organization can utilize to join more than 100 nonprofit organizations and businesses in coordinating 215+ events across three days of service in September. Last year alone, this event fostered 60,000 volunteer hours. Indy DO Day co-chairs Jenny Dexter and Patrick Broccolo will moderate a discussion and Q & A with three organizations who have nailed coordinating events for Indy DO Day.

Next, during an interactive discussion, learn about how to convert volunteers to donors as fundraising expert Kristi Howard-Shultz shares strategies to engage volunteers as financial contributors. This interactive session will offer a big picture perspective coupled with practical tips, templates and tools. Leave energized, prepared to grow your volunteer donor base and feel confident engaging board and staff in discussions around new approaches and strategies.
